CONTRACT CONDITIONS

 

  • The amount of the reservation will be paid in advance during check-in. The accommodation may charge the card provided by the client the total amount of the reservation once the free cancellation period has ended.
  • Free cancellation up to 10 days before the date of entry.
  • After the free cancellation period, 50% of the total reservation must be paid.
  • If it is canceled in the last 4 days or the client does not show up, 100% of the reservation will be charged.
  • If the client uses any extra service, it will be charged to the card provided when making the reservation.
  • By hiring our services you accept the house rules that we have implemented for everyone's comfort and are shown below:

HOUSE RULES

 

- It is not allowed to smoke. Smoking carries a penalty of €200 in cleaning and relocation costs for subsequent guests, which will be charged to the card provided when making the reservation. If the client disregards this rule, it will result in expulsion from the hostel.

- Drinking alcohol or having parties is not allowed and failure to comply will result in expulsion from the hostel. 

- If the client causes any damage (amount of damage caused) or loses the keys (€15), this amount will be charged to the card provided during the reservation.

- The common areas are monitored with cameras and are for guests only, they cannot be used for visitors after check-out time and between 11 at night and 7 in the morning.

- In shared rooms, belongings must be stored in lockers and coat racks. Towels out of place are removed (new towel €3). 

- On the day of arrival you can leave your luggage at the hostel from 10 in the morning.
- On the day of departure you can leave your luggage until 2 (low season) or until 5 (high season). Contact us if you need other options.

– The washing machine and dryer, along with soap and fabric softener, cost €4 per machine or €6 for both.

– It is not allowed to hang clothes from windows or sills. Use the kitchen clothesline instead. 

- We have a place for bikes in front of the reception. You can also leave it next to the vending machine without disturbing it. Under no circumstances will you be able to leave it in the shared room or in the common areas of the building.

- We are in a community and we are a small accommodation, so we appreciate that the entrances and exits are quiet and without making noise.

FAQs

At what time can I check in?

Our check-in time is from 2 to 9pm. From May to October, the reception is open from 2 to 5pm. If you are arriving between 5 and 9pm, or during the low season, we will send you a link by email to register online and we will give you the access codes to the hostel on the day of your arrival. Check your email and if you haven't received anything, check your spam folder.

Can I check-in before 2pm?

During the morning we are at the hostel doing the cleaning and you can stop by if you need to leave your suitcase after 10am. Write us an email or call us to organize it.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is until 11 in the morning. Between 11 and 2 we do the cleaning so we need that time so that everything is ready and spotless.

Can I leave my suitcase after check out?

In high season you can leave your suitcase until 5 in the afternoon. If you need other options, contact us. In low season it is not possible.

Could I take a shower after check-out time?

If you want to take advantage of the beach on the day of your departure, you can shower at the hostel. We will give you a clean towel, 45 minutes and it is €7 extra. All this before 5pm.

What if I have to arrive later than 9:00 p.m.?

We do not receive anyone after 9pm. The reason for having a reception with limited hours is that we are a small accommodation, regarding the rest of the guests and our own.

What amenities are there in the hostel?

Due to our small size we do not organize activities but we can always guide you about active tourism companies. In the hostel we have some games for children, books, a guitar, darts, skates, bodyboards, a paddle surf board to use whenever you want and also a soft drink and snack machine.

Where can we park?

Just below Boogalow there is a car park 'Empark Jardines del Náutico' that costs €15/20 for 24 hours. To get this price you will have to get a voucher at the machine. On the street you have to pay for the 'blue zone' every two hours and to park for free we recommend that you go to the El Molinón football stadium. It's a 20 minute walk through the park and beach.

What common areas are shared with other guests?

Two: the living room and the full kitchen where you can cook whenever you want. Out of respect for the rest of our guests, they cannot be used between 11 at night and 7 in the morning.

Can I leave my bike at Boogalow?

We have space for bikes in front of the reception. If you travel with more than 4 consult us. Under no circumstances may bicycles be left in the common areas of the building or in the shared rooms.

Can we rent the entire space?

If you want to rent the 25 accommodation places that Boogalow offers, get in touch to study what type of group you are and how we can organize it. The entire space is not rented for bachelor parties or other types of festive stays.
